
Compensation and Benefits
- Medical - Blue Cross and Blue Shield individual coverage is provided by the firm.
- Dental - Dental insurance is available. Premiums are paid by the associate.
- Life Insurance - Coverage amount is two times an individuals’ base salary and is provided by the firm.
- Disability - The firm provides short-term and long-term disability insurance. Coverage begins after 90 days of employment.
- Profit Sharing Plan - Associates are eligible to enroll in the profit sharing plan as of January 1 or July 1 following completion of one year of employment. The firm contributes 7.3 percent of an individuals’ total compensation up to the Social Security taxable wage base and 13 percent of total compensation in excess of the Social Security taxable wage base. Contributions are vested in three years from an individuals’ date of employment.
- 401(k) Plan - Associates are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan following ninety days of employment and may contribute up to 15 percent of total compensation.
- Medical Cafeteria Plan - This plan permits individuals to use pre-tax dollars to pay for medical and dental insurance premiums that are not covered by the firm's medical plan.
- Dependent Care Cafeteria Plan - This plan permits individuals to use pre-tax dollars to pay for dependent care. This is typically used to pay for day care.
- Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan - This plan permits individuals to use pre-tax dollars to pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses.
- Vacation - Associates are entitled to two weeks of vacation during each calendar year. New associates are entitled to vacation time during their first calendar year in proportion to the total amount of time they will work during that calendar year.
- Continuing Legal Education - The firm will pay for each associate's continuing legal education for the year.
- Holidays - New Year’’s Day, Memorial Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and others as determined by the firm.
- Parking - Free covered parking in the Colonial Brookwood Center parking deck

Compensation Package
Annual Base salary for first year associates is $90,000 with a $5000 signing bonus. Associates who have completed their LL.M. are given a one year salary credit. Additionally, judicial clerks may receive a one year salary credit.
