The Physician Practices Practice Team helps the firm’s clients organize and operate their practices so they can achieve their professional and financial goals while complying with the maze of regulations affecting physician practices today.

The Practice Team provides the entire range of corporate legal services for physician clients, from organizing new practices and advising on the admission of new practitioners, to merging existing practices and dissolving old practices. We regularly advise clients on tax, business, and liability issues affecting their practices. We help our physician clients comply with the restrictions placed on them by the Stark statute and the Anti-Kickback statute as they enter into contractual arrangements with hospitals and other health care entities to which they refer their patients. The Practice Team also helps physician clients create simple but effective compliance programs designed to prevent legal problems from occurring.
