Don B. Long III Joins Johnston Barton as an Associate

Birmingham, Alabama, June 2, 2010- Johnston Barton Proctor & Rose LLP is pleased to announce Don B. Long III has joined the firm as an associate. 

Don is a Member of the Firm’s Litigation Group.  He is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh School of Law (LL.M. in International Law, 2008), the University Texas School of Law (J.D., With Honors, 2008), and Columbia University (B.A., in History, 2004). 

While at the University of Texas, Don worked as research assistant for Professor Mitchell Berman, Richard Dale Endowed Chair in Law, helping prepare an article on constitutional law.  At the University of Edinburgh, his master’s thesis on international law received First Honors.

After finishing law school, Don served as a law clerk for the Honorable Susan G. Braden on the United States Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C.
